Dear Friends and Fellow Alumni,

This year, we celebrate an incredible milestone, not just for the more than 9,000 men who have walked our hallowed halls, but for Jewish education in general. The founding of YUHSB in September of 1916 was the first time in the history of North America that a yeshiva high school offered both a premier Judaic and General Studies education.

In present day, YUHSB continues to set the bar for Jewish education, offering a unique blend of Torah study in a traditional yeshiva environment, superior and appropriately varied college preparatory classes, and a wide array of extra-curricular activities.

What YUHSB has accomplished over its 100 years is truly remarkable and we are honored to celebrate this milestone with you – our alumni, students, faculty, parents, families and friends.

Thank you to both the Centennial Committee members and the class ambassadors for taking on this role of helping to recognize and celebrate this achievement and for being proud members of the Yeshiva University and YUHSB family.

If you would like to get involved with the Centennial celebration, please don’t hesitate to contact me at joshua.jacoby@yu.edu.

Sincerely,

Joshua D. Jacoby ‘02
